12 ans après le succès international de Dress Code et un an après la sortie de l’album-concept Mutant qui a vu leur titre Save My Heart From The World, ré-écrit et remixé par la crème de la scène électro française (Yann Wagner, Antipop, Tristesse Contemporaine, Barbara Carlotti, Dj Cam et Chapelier Fou, entre autres), Frantic annonce enfin son retour avec It, un nouvel album enregistré entre Paris et Londres et mixé à Los Angeles par l’équipe d’ingénieurs du son de M83 et la collaboration du producteur anglais Flood (New Order, Soft Cell, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Depeche Mode, ...).

Frantic explore ici plusieurs styles. Du folk dépouillé de Leave It All Behind à la cyber soul de Lookin’ At The Scene, il ne s’interdit rien et s’aventure du côté de la pop et même du rock, privilégiant plutôt l’inspiration live et directe. Peu importe l’emballage, seule l’émotion compte. Ce disque est un disque de rencontres et d’instantanés, très brut et instinctif !

Il a été écrit et réalisé par plusieurs producteurs et auteurs qui ne se sont jamais rencontrés. Frantic étant le seul élément-lien d’une aventure digitalisée qu’il aura mis trois ans à écrire. Car ici, il n’y est pas question de temps. Le processus créatif s’est construit au gré des rencontres tout en faisant confiance à l’air du temps.

Un album qui dépeint les dangers du transhumanisme qui vise à confondre l’homme et l’intelligence artificielle dans un même dessein, voire un même destin...

On parle aussi d’amour dans ce disque. Ici, les sentiments se mêlent à la technologie dans un même élan, avec des chansons très mélodiques.

Le premier single s’intitule Save You (I Won’t), un titre prémonitoire qui nous oblige à suivre et à respecter notre propre mélodie intérieure et notre vibration primale.

12 years after the worldwide success of Dress Code and last year critically acclaimed project Mutant, the revisited concept of the re-work of their song Save My Heart From The World by the french electro scene such as Dj Cam, Antipop, Yann Wagner, Chapelier Fou, Tristesse Contemporaine, Barbara Carlotti, ... and many more.

Frantic is now back with a brand new album called It ! Recorded in Paris and London and mixed in Los Angeles by M83’s recording engineers team and the british producer Flood (New Order, Soft Cell, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Depeche Mode, ...). Ten tracks, inspired by the world ambiance and this «Sodome and Ghomorra» feeling that brought us a deep mutation, and drove us to a radical change of our behaviorism... Everything has changed for Frantic. Very quickly... We all are now Mutant with spiritual expectations, living in a digital world that took us to «transhumanism», which is the most dangerous thing for mankind for him. Already here, already done. Living through this with unknown consequences…

Who’s guilty ? Who’s right ? Frantic is questionning our deep subconscious that’s why he called this album «it» something half human/half machine, totally unpredictable but with real effects...
